Vicki Blatchley is a corporate photographer based in Swindon who also spends a lot of time on the other side of the camera.

My First Memory
Photography was never a part of my childhood at all - literally the opposite. There are maybe only a handful of pictures of me growing up and of my family, which I've always though is really sad. I had my own film camera and was always so excited about going to boots and picking up my photos, so when my Dad decided to finally buy a compact digital camera I think that being able to take as many photos as I wanted (without paying to get them developed) got me addicted.

The Future?
I've never really been one to follow the 'legends' of photography but I love the work of David LaChapelle and Javier Vallhonrat. I get a lot of my inspiration from Flickr - amateur photographers using limited kit and still producing amazing images.

The Future?
World domination! Haha, I still feel like I have a lot to learn from photography especially portraits which I'm only just getting into. But would like to see my business grow - bigger clients, images used in advertising campaigns, and magazines and being able to shoot around the world.
